Life Enriching…
A friend commented on yesterday’s blog as follows:
“Wow. Fantastic contrasting experiences. The art installation and then the beauty of the penguins. Exactly what a sabbatical is for. Life enriching.”
Thanks Mark! Today was most definitely life enriching and connected with a different aspect of what a sabbatical is for. Apparently, officially, for tax reasons, a sabbatical is named ‘Extended Study Leave’ and therefore there is a strong encouragement to include some study or self development type element.
Today I took advantage of being in Melbourne to head out of the city centre to meet with an excellent Life Coach, Sherryn Bowers, who I’ve previously ‘met’ online a number of times through the large international women's’ coaching network, ‘One of Many’.
When I knew I was coming here, it seemed serendipitous to see if it was possible to meet up… and we did. I’d booked to spend half a day working with Sherryn… but it was 5.30pm when she said farewell at the local railway station, having so generously spent all day with me, enabling us both to chat and spend time together over lunch, and with her cat, Bear, as well as a number of hours coaching.
Life enriching for sure ~ thanks so much Sherryn ~ certainly part of what a sabbatical is for; with both new insights, and tools for ongoing development explored. So not many photos for today, simply the view from the balcony on our last evening in Melbourne… next stop Tasmania!

Sounds like a life enriching, well spent day. A real me time' experience. 😊 xx
